Half-Rep Mindset

We often skip the hardest part of a lift — the deep stretch at the bottom of dips or shoulder presses — because it's humbling. Few reps, full tension. Instead, we chase the top half. It's easier, looks better, lets us add more weight. But that top range is fluff. We're stacking weight on shallow reps. And it's not just in the gym — it's life. We add more complexity: supplements, tools, relationships, goals. All while avoiding the basics. The bottom range. If you're not going deep with what you already have, adding more won’t fix it. It'll just make the cracks grow.

That’s also the reason why I decided to create Moment.
It’s a free app that encourages brief pauses during the day — to take stock of how you’re feeling.
And if you’re intentional enough,
maybe you'll see a bit clearer who you are…
and who you could become.

If you're curious, you can try Moment here.
No pressure. Just a few mindful pauses — maybe they'll change something.
