Liking or Disliking? — how the mind colors the same thing

veggies

I did not like veggies when I was a child. I hated them.
But I loved them and ate them each and every day last summer when I was prepping.

They are in fact delicious and very often veggies plus a bit of Maggi — ohh the unhealthy one — and it tastes so great that I would not think about any junk food whatsoever.

And the benefits for health, skin, heart condition are visible pretty soon.

Where is the difference between me now liking it and then disliking it?

Now I know that they have short and long term impact on my health, well being.
So this colors my mind.

Also I know that by picking them rather than pretty common convenience food I am much more likely to stay in great shape in my 30s, 40s and 50s. Maybe 60s and 70s too.

Those are the same veggies but the framing is way different

That’s also the reason why I decided to create Moment.
It’s a free app that encourages brief pauses during the day — to take stock of how you’re feeling.
And if you’re intentional enough,
maybe you’ll see a bit clearer who you are…
and who you could become.

If you’re curious, you can try Moment here.
No pressure. Just a few mindful pauses — maybe they’ll change something.
