Read a book?
Or maybe watch a movie?
No… going for a walk would be better.
But ahh, my legs are sore.
Maybe I should do some stretching.
Nah… my back is itching so maybe I’d rather…
Commit. Do not quit.
Commit to the thing and cut off what could be done next.
Now we suffer more from too many options than too few.
And it gets out of hand so often.
Like when you want to watch something just to unwind and relax,
and then you find yourself stuck thinking about what to watch
because there are too many choices.
It’s a bit scary.
But the only solution is to let the feelings fade
while you’ve already committed to doing the thing.
That’s also the reason why I decided to create Moment.
It’s a free app that encourages brief pauses during the day — to take stock of how you’re feeling.
And if you’re intentional enough,
maybe you’ll see a bit clearer who you are…
and who you could become.
If you’re curious, you can try Moment here.
No pressure. Just a few mindful pauses — maybe they’ll change something.
